Trutec Contracting first formed in 2006 after Blair Schultz, owner, decided to own and operate his own business. They perform work for almost every major player in the oil industry throughout Canada. Now operating with seven employees and three trucks, Trutec has a combined experience totaling 45 years – helping them sustain dominance within the industrial insulation industry.
Trutec Contracting’s strong reputation, dedication, and production of one of the most compliant safety programs in the industry, lead to the presentation of the Safety Award from EnCana, Canadian Foothills in 2008. This award was presented to Trutec Contracting for their outstanding performance in safety excellence. Trutec has carried this momentum into 2009 and continues to see both their quality of service and their status within the industry increase.

Trutec Contracting’s Use of ISNetworld
In 2008, Trutec became a member of ISNetworld at the request of Husky Energy, and is now connected to 6 Owner Clients within ISNetworld. ISNetworld’s Review and Verification Services (RAVS) allows Trutec to organize their health and safety information in one central location.

Now, ISNetworld helps us keep our organization on track…before it was all paper and reports; now I punch in my numbers and pull off all the necessary information needed for vendor packages. Trutec Contracting has also taken advantage of the Users Group Meetings held across Canada, and has found them very helpful in making sure they make appropriate updates for the OH&S regulations. Attending the Users Group Meetings has allowed them to network within the industry, as well as put a face to the employees of ISNetworld.
